7 Best Roofing Sales Software for 2026: Generate Leads, Manage Your Pipeline & Close More Jobs
By Makayla Schultheis

When you're focused on growing your business and making your sales team more efficient, there are two types of roofing sales software that companies look for:
CRMs and business management software. These are tools like JobNimbus, AccuLynx, and ServiceTitan that track each job from the first lead to the final invoice. While most of these tools include basic estimating, the focus is on managing the business.
Estimating and proposal software. Tools like Roofr, Leap, and Hover help your reps measure a roof, price the job, and collect the homeowner's signature. Generally, these tools are used alongside your CRM of choice.
These tools are valuable (we cover six of them below), but they’re built to manage and close leads you already have, not to reach out to new homeowners.
In this post, we cover:
How GlassHouse, our digital door knocking software, can help make your sales team more cost-effective by letting you message homeowners directly about your roofing services.
Three CRMs and three estimating and proposal tools roofing companies commonly use to manage and close their leads.
How to choose the right mix of roofing sales software for your team.
About GlassHouse: GlassHouse can help you get more leads while increasing profitability with our digital door knocking service. You choose which homeowners to message, you customize the message based on the campaign you’re running, and you can track results from your dashboard. For example, Mighty Dog Roofing in Pittsburgh closed $135,000 in revenue after spending $6,500 on GlassHouse over six weeks. Schedule a free demo. |
1. GlassHouse: Digital door knocking software for roofing companies

GlassHouse helps you get more leads cost-effectively by letting you text new homeowners directly. You can filter which homeowners you reach out to, so you can send messages to your best-fit customers.
GlassHouse doesn’t replace roofing sales software like a CRM, field service management system (FSM), or roofing estimating tool. Rather, GlassHouse works with your existing operations and lowers your blended cost per booked appointment.
Two common ways roofing companies use GlassHouse to grow their business are by:
Expanding into new neighborhoods. You can message homeowners in neighborhoods where you don’t have a presence yet, then send your reps to the homeowners who reply. This lets your reps start with the homeowners who have already shown interest before canvassing the rest of the area.
Turning a cold touch into a warm touch. You can message homeowners before your canvassing team knocks. For example, if you’ve just completed a roofing job nearby, you can send before-and-after pics in an outbound marketing campaign to other homes in the neighborhood. Or if there was a storm in the area, you can quickly create and send out a campaign about your roofing repair service. This way, when your rep knocks on a door, they’re following up vs. cold introducing themselves.
Strategies like these have worked well for our clients. For example:
Mighty Dog Roofing in Pittsburgh closed $135,000 in revenue after spending $6,500 on cold texting over six weeks, with another $126,000 in proposals still open when we pulled the numbers. That comes out to $197 per booked appointment.
Complete Roofing in Woodstock, Georgia, hit a 75x ROI in 2.5 months. After four months, they had 26 qualified appointments, $150,000 in won revenue, and one to two booked appointments per day during their busy season.
To learn how GlassHouse works in detail, you can schedule a free demo or keep reading below.
A common question we get from roofing companies: Is outbound texting a legal and honest way to find new customers? Yes. GlassHouse handles carrier registration and checks contacts against national and state Do Not Call lists. We also consult with a national law firm that specializes in the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) to keep our service compliant. Our clients have seen significant returns from using our service, and we have a low opt-out rate from homeowners. |
How to set up a campaign with GlassHouse
First, choose where to prospect. You can target homeowners within the neighborhoods or ZIP codes you choose, or draw a custom shape on the map around specific streets. When integrated directly with your CRM, the map also plots pins for prospects, customers, and upcoming jobs, so you can see where you already have a presence and decide whether to build route density or expand elsewhere.

Next, choose who to send your campaign to. You can filter by home age, home value, home size, lot size, last sale date, and income level. This helps ensure that you’re sending messages to your best-fit prospects.

Then write and launch your campaign. You can start from our message templates for roofing companies, and our customer success team will help you write your first campaigns. You can A/B test multiple messages in one campaign to see which messages are most effective.
Below is a real exchange from one of our roofing clients’ outreach campaigns.
Outreach: Don't wait for a leak to become a costly disaster. [Our roofing company] offers top-tier maintenance and repair to keep your business or home protected. Are you ready to secure your property with a free, professional consultation this week? Homeowner: Wow! No actually, I haven't managed to find someone to fix it so if you've got someone nearby this week that would be awesome! What date/time are you thinking? |
Positive replies like this one show up in your sales board with real-time SMS, email, and/or browser alerts. Your team can respond directly, or JackieAI, our AI autoresponder, can carry the conversation to a booked appointment. From there, your GlassHouse leads will push directly into your CRM or FSM. GlassHouse integrates with CRMs like ServiceTitan, AccuLynx, and HubSpot.
See which campaigns produce revenue

When a job is complete, you know which campaign and neighborhood the lead came from.
However, some homeowners won't reply directly to your message. Instead, after seeing your text, they’ll search for your business and come through another way. To see those completed jobs, GlassHouse runs an automatic matchback with your CRM, or you can upload your list of closed jobs and we will match those homeowners against every campaign sent through GlassHouse.
Use GlassHouse alongside your other marketing channels
In our experience, GlassHouse works best alongside the channels that are already working for you. Roofing clients typically put 10% to 15% of their marketing spend toward outbound text with GlassHouse, and the warm touches it creates can raise conversion rates across their other channels.
Here’s how GlassHouse fits in with three channels roofing companies commonly use.
Google Ads, Local Services Ads, and Google Business Profile
Google Ads, LSAs, and your Business Profile reach homeowners who are already searching for a roofer. But homeowners who haven’t noticed their roof needs work won’t find you this way, and Google decides who sees your listing, not you. GlassHouse lets you reach those homeowners before they start searching, in the neighborhoods you choose.
The two channels also work together. When homeowners get a text from your company, some will search for your business and call you instead of replying. A complete Business Profile with recent reviews helps turn those searches into leads. If you connect GlassHouse to your CRM, a matchback credits those jobs to the campaign that started them, so you can see which channels are working together.
Direct mailers
Like direct mailers, GlassHouse lets you reach the neighborhoods you want to target. But route-based services like USPS Every Door Direct Mail reach every address on the selected routes.
With GlassHouse, you filter by home age, home value, home size, lot size, last sale date, and income level before you reach out, so your budget goes toward the homes that fit your jobs. You also aren’t paying for a print run, so you can test different messages and neighborhoods, then adjust a campaign that isn’t getting replies. And a text reaches a homeowner within minutes, which matters after a storm, when a mailer can take a week or more to arrive. (See our post on alternatives to direct mailers for roofing companies.)
Referral programs
Leads from referrals often close at higher rates because the homeowner starts the conversation with your business. But you can’t control how many referrals come in. GlassHouse lets you extend the same trust to the homes around each completed job. You can message neighbors about the roof you just finished and offer a free inspection while your crew is in the area, which gives them a local reason to trust you.

You can run your campaigns yourself (and pay based on how many messages you send) or have our team run your campaigns for you (and pay per lead you get).

Roofing CRM and business management software
A roofing CRM keeps your leads, appointments, and jobs in one place once a homeowner is in your pipeline. The tools below track each job from the first contact through production and the final invoice, so your office and your crews can see the status of each job without the back-and-forth.
Below, we cover three CRMs roofing companies commonly use. We've described each as objectively as possible using information from each company's website. Note that features and pricing are current as of October 2026 and may change.
2. JobNimbus

JobNimbus is a CRM and project management software for roofing and exterior contractors. Teams track leads and jobs on customizable boards, so you can see where each homeowner sits in your sales process, from first contact to a signed contract and a completed job.
Its features include:
A CRM with unlimited contacts, reports, and analytics on all plans
Estimates, roof measurement ordering, and payment collection from within the platform
A mobile app for managing jobs, photos, and teams from the field
Automations, with monthly limits that depend on your plan
A QuickBooks integration, plus an API and webhooks for connecting other tools
Scout, an AI assistant that works inside the app (currently in beta)
JobNimbus offers four plans (Essentials, Pro, Premium, and Enterprise) based mainly on the number of users. Essentials supports up to three users, and Enterprise is for teams of 20 or more. Pricing isn't published; you request a quote, and a 14-day free trial is available. The lower plans cap the number of boards, automations, and integrations you can use, so growing teams may need to move up a tier.

Template-based estimates and digital document signing
Aerial measurements and an EagleView integration

Payment collection, including ACH transfers, and a QuickBooks sync
A GlassHouse integration, so hot leads from your GlassHouse campaigns go straight into your AccuLynx pipeline
AccuLynx offers custom-quoted plans, and pricing isn't published. Capterra lists no free trial.

4. ServiceTitan

ServiceTitan is an all-in-one platform for home service businesses, with a roofing-specific setup that covers sales, estimating, material ordering, and production.
Its features include:
Sales scheduling that matches appointments with the right sales rep
Good, Better, Best estimate templates and financing options for closing at the appointment
Measurement integrations with EagleView, GAF QuickMeasure, and Hover that feed directly into estimates
Supplier integrations with ABC Supply, QXO, and SRS Distribution
A field mobile app for managing roof production from the job site
Reporting tools and marketing tools based on your customer data
A GlassHouse integration, so hot leads from your GlassHouse campaigns appear as new records in ServiceTitan
ServiceTitan doesn't publish pricing; you book a demo to get a quote. Its breadth makes it a better fit for larger roofing companies that will use the whole platform, and it may be more than a smaller roofing company needs.

Roofing estimating and proposal software
Estimating and proposal software helps your reps turn an inspection into a signed contract. These tools generally cover one or more of three tasks:
Measuring the roof, often remotely using aerial imagery or photos
Building an estimate and proposal from those measurements
Collecting the homeowner's signature, and sometimes a deposit or financing approval, at the appointment
These tools generally start from a homeowner who has already contacted you or an address you already have, so they work best alongside a way to generate leads, like canvassing or GlassHouse.
Below, we cover three roofing estimating and proposal software options. We've described each as objectively as possible using information from each company's website. Note that features and pricing are current as of October 2026 and may change.
5. Roofr

Roofr is roofing software that combines measurements, proposals, and a CRM. It's known for its roof measurement reports, which start at $13 on paid plans and arrive in as little as two hours.
Its features include:
Roof measurement reports with pitch, area, a diagram, and material estimates at different waste percentages
An Instant Estimator for your website, which gives homeowners a roof price range in exchange for their contact information
Proposals with good, better, and best options, e-signatures, and alerts when a homeowner views a proposal
A CRM with a customizable job board, automations, email and text templates, and reporting (texting is a $49/month add-on, available only on the Essentials and Scale plans)
Invoicing and payment collection, including deposits
Material ordering and supplier integrations with ABC Supply, QXO, and SRS Distribution, plus integrations with CompanyCam and Zapier
Roofr offers a free Starter plan and paid plans: Essentials ($249 per month billed monthly or $209 per month billed annually) and Scale ($349 per month billed monthly or $299 per month billed annually).
For more information, you can:
6. Leap

Leap makes SalesPro, an in-home sales app for contractors, along with a separate CRM. SalesPro covers the appointment itself: estimating, financing, and contracting.
SalesPro's features include:
Digital estimates that pull product and pricing information in real time
Customizable proposals and contracts with digital signatures, plus a DocuSign integration for sending contracts remotely
In-home financing through lending partners, with on-site approvals
Payment capture and invoicing
Integrations with EagleView, ABC Supply, QXO, SRS, CompanyCam, QuickBooks, GreenSky, and Angi Leads
SalesPro starts at $99 per month, and Leap offers a 14-day free trial.
For more information, you can:
7. Hover

Hover turns smartphone photos into a 3D model of a home, which reps can use to measure the roof, build an estimate, and show the homeowner what the finished roof will look like.
Its features include:
Roof measurements from ground-level photos, including total squares, pitch, and lengths for ridges, hips, valleys, eaves, and rakes, with exports to Xactimate for insurance work
A design visualizer that shows the home in different shingle brands and colors, limited to the products you sell if you choose
Automated estimate quantities from the 3D model, with configurable labor, markup, waste, and tax
Proposals that homeowners can sign on-site
Hover charges $29 to $69 per project, or $99 per month for its Pro subscription, which includes unlimited design and estimates.
To get a scan, your rep needs to walk around the property and photograph all four sides of the home, so Hover generally fits an in-person appointment rather than pricing a job before you visit.

How to choose the right roofing sales software for your team
Most roofing companies use more than one of the tools above. The right mix depends on where your sales process is losing the most revenue:
If you don't have enough leads, CRMs and estimating tools won't fix that, because they start from leads you already have. Lead generation software like GlassHouse lets you add more to your pipeline.
If leads are slipping through the cracks, a CRM like JobNimbus, AccuLynx, or ServiceTitan helps your team track each lead and follow up on time.
If deals stall at the estimate, estimating and proposal tools like Roofr, Leap, and Hover help your reps price the job and get a signature at the appointment.
When you're comparing options, keep a few things in mind:
Integrations: Check whether the tool connects to the software you already use, including your CRM, measurement provider, and suppliers. Tools that don't connect mean someone has to re-enter jobs by hand.
Attribution: Look for tools that show where your jobs came from. You can't compare channels or decide where to spend more if you don't know which leads turned into signed work.
Pricing model: Some tools charge per user, which can get expensive if you add reps for storm season. Others charge per project, per credit, or based on the size of your business.
Once you can attribute jobs to their source, track three metrics for each channel:
Cost per lead (CPL): What you pay, on average, for each lead a channel produces.
Close rate: The percentage of leads from a channel that turn into signed jobs.
Customer acquisition cost (CAC): Your total spend on a channel divided by the number of new customers it produced.
Reviewing all three together gives you a clearer picture of which channels to scale up and which to continue to optimize or pull back on.
Of all the software on this list, only GlassHouse lets you reach out directly to homeowners who you’ve never spoken to. This helps you:
Scale leads across your service area
Lower your cost per lead by reaching homeowners before they start searching
